These are all 6/4 drawings needed to make Winterkit an apprentice. that right, he's already an apprentice. No one can stop him now! HA Ha ha _ha

This means Winterkit can become an apprentice! woot!</u>

Anyway to explain them...

Top:

Left:
I drew this one to show that, even during his easy kit life as he played, he's determined to be someone his mom can be proud of in hopes that she won't hurt anymore.

Middle:
Fine, I just draw this to show that he does have a huge loving relationship with his mother. And he's a kit, so despite all the angst and turmoil there are still cute moments... He's just no Nettlekit so I'm less inclined to draw out those moments.

Right:
A few warriors are role playing with him right now, and he's all "Teach me the good stuff" so when I noticed I had extra space I doodled this one.

Bottom:

Left:
This is to show what was taught to Winterkit early on. From Frostwind's pain she taught him to be strong, to believe in himself no matter what and to treat those older than you, weaker than you, or the she cat you love, with adoration and respect. So despite his little moodiness he's a good tom kit.

Middle:
As a child, it can be traumatic to see your parents split up. That's what I was trying to show here. though Voicestar isn't splitting up with Frostwind, there's that same thing of Winterkit watching his mother love Voicestar, then cry to herself. (he's the only one to ever see her weak) That, plus his father being busy, gives a show in to WHY Winterkit dislikes his father.

Right:
Had a little story for this one, as it was my favorite. Since Frostwind and Voicestar won't be getting a ton of lovey dovey drawings form me, I figure I want to do a lot of father son drawings.

_{There was few, if any, doubts in any of the Willwoclan cats minds that Winterkit was going to be an astounding warrior some day.
After all, he was already an astounding kit. Steadily learning and growing, he was becoming good at some key things already; as well as respecting the elders, he'd clean their dens the days they let him just to feel important, adoring the senior warriors, because he knew just how much he could learn from them, and loving his mother and his friends, Embertail, Starkit and Lionspirit.
So they tried to look past his one little issue.
"In Starclans name why can't you leave me alone! I want NOTHING to do with you you piece of mouse dung!"
"How dare you speak that way to me!"
Winterkit looked over and glared at his father who, at his wits end, glared back.
"I'll speak whatever way I WANT. Pick who ever you darn want to be my mentor, it's not like you care what I think anyways!" He screeched.
No one even knew how these fights ever started, but they did, and only more and more frequently as Winterkit grew older.
"Why would I even ASK your opinion if I wasn't going to take it into consideration?" Voicestar sighed, giving up.
Winterkit turned away.
"Ask don't know. Try asking mother. You seem to care about HER a lot, and yet what SHE thinks doesn't matter." he hissed coldly, but he at least knew to keep that quiet enough so others couldn't here. While his mother had explained that Voicestar had two families, Winterkit only kept this a secret because his mother didn't want to be shamed, and he loved her.
So referencing that he loved her, but when she suggested he love only her he never did, was a low blow.
"Leave my sight. You better hope I don't postpone your apprentice ceremony." Voicestar growled, and Winterkit turned back to face him head on, glaring furiously with his hackles raised and claws extended. Even now, everyone could see just how much he was his fathers son.
"You wouldn't DARE! You know I'm MORE than ready enough! Everyone knows! I'm better than most fox brained apprentices!"
At this point the argument went one, but most cats tuned it out and went on with their duties. After all, it would end just as soon as it had started.}
